Why Our Spirituality Needs Storytelling

Young adults are invited to the next Jesuit Connections online event on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, from 7:30pm-8:30pm (Eastern).

Too often we think our stories don’t matter. We compare ourselves to the lives and legacies and stories of those around us—and feel as though our own life stories are left wanting. But Ignatian spirituality reminds us that God is in all things. That means God is present in even the most mundane details of our stories. How do we embrace this truth? And what do we do once we have?

Join author Eric A. Clayton for an evening of sharing stories and reflections on how our spiritual lives can flourish through storytelling. There will be opportunities for small group conversation with other young adults.

Optional Book Discussion Groups

Those who are interested in taking part in a self-led book discussion group based on Eric’s book, Cannonball Moments: Telling Your Story, Deepening Your Faith, are invited to sign up below. We will email interested young adults with information on how to connect with others and set a time for virtual meetings. You may sign up for the event, the discussion groups, or both.
