Ignatian Online Family Communities
Ignatian Young Adult Ministries is partnering with Goodfaith to offer an online family community inspired by Ignatian Spirituality starting in September of 2025.
Family Matters is a 15-month long self-led online program for families with children ranging from infants through high school. Together we will explore faith through prayer, service, discernment, and community building.
The program and online platform include:
resources for self-led family activities and projects
optional virtual community meetings to interact with other families
optional spiritual direction for parents
materials offered in both English and Spanish
“Thank you for organizing that wonderful and grace-filled short meet-up with other families. I was inspired how each one is graced by the Lord to encounter Him in the challenges of each member of the family. it was lovely hearing from others how they are opening themselves to the Lord. We are now doing the examen. it was an opportunity for us as a family to sense and notice in a much more deeper way how the Lord is encountering and present in each of us throughout the day. Even our 7 yr old and 6 yr old were able to do the examen and share it with us. The program is really a blessing to us. ”
What Can I Expect?
The program begins with a self-paced retreat from home, guided by online materials. Beginning in Advent, the program centers around four “journeys,” each lasting approximately two months, for which you will receive a subscription-style box with content focused on that theme. The age-appropriate materials might include activities, games, household objects, prayer books, reflections, etc.
