Ignatian Spirituality in a Complex World

Recently, we held an evening with Vanessa Rotondo in an interactive conversation about how to embrace Ignatian spirituality in 2023. Rotondo focused in on Ignatian spirituality in our complex world, including the use of artificial intelligence and the role global citizenship plays. Participants workshopped strategies to use Ignatian spirituality as a tool to navigate these complex waters together.

This event, presented by Ignatian Young Adult Ministries, was open to all ages.

Vanessa Rotondo serves Fordham University as the Deputy Chief of Staff in the Office of the President. A two-time Fordham alumna and current doctoral candidate, Rotondo first encountered Ignatian Spirituality from the Office of Campus Ministry at Fordham, and found herself deeply transformed. She is writing her doctoral dissertation on ways to embrace Ignatian spirituality through teaching and learning in our era of liquid modernity. She is also an adjunct in the theology department, where, she is spearheading a Synodal project with a cohort of national educators.
